You will also want to make sure you have permission in place. No one can connect until you grant access
Click on Permissions

If you have a account on the pc that you want to use to connect you can use the Windows NT security. If you don't you can set up a account using the Radmin Security. In the example below I will set it up using Radmin security.
-Click on permissions

Create a account by clicking on Add User

Create a account and set a password with 6 characters or longer.

You can set the level of access you allow the user to have

Another thing that can be changed if you are worried about some one getting in, is set the service to start manually. You can then start the connection when ever you know some one needs to connect.
- You can change that setting by going to Start > All Programs > Radmin Server 3 > Settings for Remote Administrator server > Startup Mode
Before you can connect you will need to gather a little bit of information. You will need the following:
- Password of the Radmin server you are trying to connect to
- You will need the IP address of the pc that is running Radmin serve.
They will need to go to the bottom right hand corner of the screen and hover there mouse over the Blue Radmin "R".

Note: If they are on a different network then you, you will have to set up a port forwardl.
- Firewall disabled or a an exception is created to allowed radmin on the pc your trying to connect to
(see Below)
- Open up Radmin Viewer

- Click on the Add a New IP button

- Add the IP address of the Person that you would like to connect to.
You can enter a name into the Name of entry field if you want. If you don't put anything in this field it will default to the IP address. This is just a way to label it. (Example: Joe Dirte's PC)

- Double Click on the PC that you just added .
- Enter the Username and Password
Note: If you did not get prompted for a password that means you were not able to access there PC. The main cause is possibly a Firewall. You can temporarily Disable the firewall or add it as an exception.
TIP: Hitting F12 will change the size of the Radmin window once connected.
How Do I add Radmin as an exception in windows Firewall?
If you are running windows XP or windows Vista you will need to create an exception in your firewall. You will need to allow tcp port 4899
