How to Open a Terminal Window in Gnome 3

With Gnome 3 there are a few extra steps you need to take when to launch a terminal.

 

Slide you mouse in the upper left corner (Activities)

 

 

Move Your mouse to the upper left corner and click on Activities (Gnome 3)

 

You can click on Applications and scroll down untill you find terminal or you can take advantage of the search option. Start by search for terminal. Once you see it just click on the application to launch it.
