You can Clear your Internet Explorer history in IE by going to Tools > Internet Options - Click on Delete You can now delete the Data that you want.
Lets say you want to delete only one site that you visted. You can do this in the file system. IE7 changed where these files where stored. It is now hidden as an operating system file. - Navigate to C: > Documents and Settings > "Your User name here" - Click on tools > Folder Options - Click on View Tab (Located at the top of the window) - Locate Hidden Files and Folders and change the option to show hidden files and folders - Locate Hide protected operating system files [Recommended] and uncheck this box A warning box will pop up warning you -Click Yes Note: Files will be shown and if you delete the wrong thing you can trash your PC. I recommend hiding these files when you are done. - Open folder Local Settings - Open Folder History - Delete the data that you want You can delete the history for a day, week or all of your Internet explorer here. If you want to delete just a link you can double click on the time you where at the site. And delete the link Another good idea is to clear out your cookies and the other two temp folders. Cookies can be located by going to C: > Documents and Settings > "User Name" > Cookies. You will need to have hidden folders and files viewable. To hide operating system files and hidden files and folder do the same thing as you did to view them only change the settings back to how they where. It is also a good idea to run the command ipconfig /flushdns in DOS to clear you DNS lookups. I hope you found this information useful.
