What is Netstumbler? NetStumbler is an application that runs on windows. It allows you to scan for wireless networks and find more information about them. You can see if a network has security in place , what type of security, the frequency the data is being transmitted and much more. There are many uses for netstumbler but the main uses include:
- Wardriving - Verifying network configuration - Finding locations with poor coverage in one’s WLAN - Detecting causes of wireless interference - Detecting unauthorized (”rogue”) access points - Aiming directional antennas for long-haul WLAN links Those of you who do not know what war driving is, it is where you are mobile weather that is in a car, on a bike, on foot and so on, and are scanning for wireless networks. Radmin is a program that allows you take control of a remote PC. It comes in very handy when you need to support or help some one with a problem in a remote location. Radmin allows you to see and control the remote PC. You will need the Radmin server running on the PC you want to connect to. You will need the Radmin viewer to connect to the pc running the Radmin server.
Is Radmin secure?
Yes, if you set it up properly. You will need to set a secure password. There are a few other settings that you may want to turn on to really lock it down.

They offer a 30 day trail. This software can come in handy in a pinch and is very useful in corporations with remote locations. Play around with it and have some fun!
