Remote Desktop Into A Windows Server From Ubuntu E-mail

In this example I am running Ubuntu 7.10. The application was installed by default. This makes things very simple.

- Click on Applications > Internet > Terminal Server Client 

launch terminal

- Enter in the server name 

- Set the Protocol to RDP

That's all the information you need. You can enter in the domain name, user if you want to, but is not required.

- Click Connect

Enter in your username and password

server login

You should now be connected.

If you are having problems getting login, check to make sure you have remote Desktop rights to the server.
